Collecting population and demographic information; making follow-up visits and calls for household members not captured during initial surveillance Participating in regular briefings with management Alerting the mortality and pregnancy surveillance teams on deaths at community levels within our catchments Locating the structure and households in the sample and completing the household questionnaire Identifying all eligible participants in these households Checking completed interviews to be sure that all the required questions were asked and responses were recorded correctly.
