Monitor and observe activities in and around all the Depots in real time from the Control room.  Support and serve as backup to security guards on patrol at the various Depots  Look out for anti-social or criminal behaviours around facilities and report immediately to the necessary security personnel to deter crime  Support the Security department by providing 24 hours surveillance on Facilities and make recommendations where necessary.  Suggest and recommend more effective proactive measures in monitoring the organisations facilities (depots and Pipelines).  Work as part of a team to implement better procedures in managing and improving the control room activities.  Part of the monitoring team to ensure filling stations comply with regulated pump price and set standards in carrying out their operations.

 Support the Head of Safety and Compliance and Business Risk manager  Review and update of the Railways and other Guided Transport systems, (ROGS), Safety management systems and associated documents.  Part of the team that reviewed the safety inspection checklist for the train stations and made necessary recommendations to improve the safety measures across the railway stations.  Developed a risk assessment template for working at height in the depots and various stations.  Attend daily safety meetings to review the operation activities from the previous day, deliberate on measures to improve service delivery and safety to our customers  Part of the team that review daily incident reports from all locations and send them to the necessary departments to take appropriate action.  Involved in onsite inspections and monitor passengers behaviours in and around the trains and in train stations (educating customers on basic safety features in the stations)
