IT Infrastructure Manager (M/F)

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager (M/F) for our client, a multinational IT services company.

Mission:

• Managing the portfolio of technical projects, combining national and/or regional and/or international initiatives.
• Working closely with other managers and the IT Director.
• Optimising and managing the associated costs and budgets and the administrative follow-up of investments and expenses with the IT Department.
• Implementing IT asset management: servers, network equipment, workstations, warehouse terminals, printers, licences and telephones.
• Keeping a technology watch and defining development options.
• Managing the supervision and maintenance in operational condition of infrastructures, solutions and services.
• Implementing service-oriented incident management.
• Participating in defining the security policy and deploying best practices and cyber security measures.
• Drawing up budgets, proposing solutions to improve the quality of service and the technical development of the infrastructure.
• Assuming final responsibility for the systems implemented.
• Working with the various IT functional departments and interacting directly with partner organisations.
• Monitoring contracts with IT service providers, coordinating calls for tender, negotiations and renewals.
• Communicating needs, defining expectations, taking autonomous decisions and ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Working with end-users, Group management, technical resources and partner organisations to define and develop support processes.
• Manage the team, including performance appraisal, personal development and career progression.
• To instil a culture of continuous improvement in the team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
• 5+ years' experience as an IT Infrastructure Manager with a strong managerial dimension.
• Solid operational knowledge and recognised expertise in infrastructure, project and team management.
• Experience in supporting IT infrastructure environments.
• Mastery of Microsoft, Linux, Unix systems, etc.
• Knowledge of different operating systems.
• Experience with (but not limited to) LAN/WAN network infrastructure, VoIP and systems (Windows Server, Vmware, Simplivity), firewalls, Microsoft Office, Service Now, Office365, Active Directory, etc.
• Knowledge of networks Firewall, VPN, VLAN, Routing, etc.
• Flexibility and agility in critical thinking and decision-making.
• Good knowledge of the functionalities and architecture of information systems.
